Cancelled Popeye movie leaked online (and my Review for it)

 



    Genndy Tartakovsky's (Dexter's Lab, Samurai Jack, Primal, Hotel Transylvania) cancelled Popeye film has leaked online!!!!! For those of you youngins who don't know who Popeye is, he is a cartoon character who is a sailor that eats spinach to make him strong. He started as a comic in the 20's and then legendary animator Max Fleischer made Popeye cartoons! He is also one off my faviorite cartoon characters. The film since it was not finished is all in storyboard form because its not finished but the storyboards are fantastic!!! Seeing all the different styles from the different board artists is AMAZING!!! Oh btw, I watched, its AWESOME!!! It felt like Popeye!!! The story was VERY interesting and well done, telling kinda like an origin story, it has great pacing as well with REALLY clever gags that feel like they where ripped straight from the cartoons. The film also has a great moral that you will see when you watch the movie. The characters are SOO likeable with Popeye and Olive Oil being the heart of the movie, literally there relationship is EVERYTHING! I wanted more off that!! The Sea Hag is really funny with Genndy himself doing the scratch dialogue which honestly if the movie ever does come out in some way, he should do her actual voice. The voice acting in general is fantastic with Tom Kenny (who seems to play characters who have something to do with the sea cause he also is the voice of Spongebob) was BORN to play Popeye!! Seriously guys I'm obsessed I want this movie made NOW!!
    So with a movie this great, why was it cancelled? Well, when they showed it to the guys at Sony everyone loved it, but Genndy didn't hear back from anyone. It turns out the execs didn't like Genndy's vison and canned the project. Also the Sony hack killed the project to which like revealed stuff about the company or whatever but I don't know much about it and I'm to lazy to do research soo. But guys, PLEASE watch the movie. I know that another studio is doing a Popeye movie now but Im pretty sure its without Genndy. If it blows up online, then maybe the studio will hire him and do this movie!!! Please watch it before its taken down!!

    Looney Tunes Back in Action is outstanding! It is  very underrated! It is a lot like Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Mary Poppins where it combines 2d hand drawn animation and live action. The movie combines everything I love about Looney Tunes and more with monsters, spy's, Steve Martin, Westerns, Adventure films, and everything else I love. Avatar Show Confirmed for 2025!!!! (and other updates)

                We now have are second Avatar Studios project announcement!!! After the very exciting announcement of the young adult team Avatar movie which is now confirmed for a October 10th 2025, we now have gotten an announcement for Avatars next show!!! The show will be about the next Avatar after Korra, who is an Earth avatar!!! The show will take place 100 years after Korra and will take place in modern day!!! Can you imagine an Avatar show, that takes place in modern day!?!?! With like newer looking cars and technology mixed with the classic Asian architecture and look that the series is known for!?!?! That's AMAZING!!! Avatar Studios will also  apparently release a show on paramount plus and a movie every year!?!?! That's INSANE!!!! Lets just hope they don't run out of steam. Animated Films with stylized animation (and how they did it)

 I got a ton of reviews for movies and shows that I wanna do but I feel like I've been doing a lot of reviews lately, so I'm gonna do this instead. It gives me a little else to talk about. Today I'm gonna talk about movies with animation that looks like nothing we've seen before and how they did it. I also put videos so you can see the process. Spider-Man into the Spiderverse Spider-Man into the Spiderverse is a groundbreaking film in many ways. But one reason is because of its incredible animation! How they made the computer animation look like a comic book is amazing! How they did it is they put a lot of 2-D lines on the characters face. Look closely on Miles' face, see how the wrinkles on his forehead look hand drawn. They also animated most of the movie on twos, which means that they are 12 frames of animation in one second instead of the 24 frames of animation in one second which is used in most animated films.
