Cartoon Saloon's Next Film First Image and Cast Revealed

 



        

    From the studio that brought you Secret of the Kells, Song of the Sea, and Wolfwalkers, Cartoon Saloon's just released a image for there next film, My Father's Dragon, based off of the off the same name. It tells the story off Elmer, who after not being happy moving to the city, he runs away to find the the Wild Island and a young dragon who needs to be rescued. The voice cast has been revealed to with the two most notable actors are Jacob Tremblay who played Luca in Luca is most likely playing Elmer, and Gaten Matarazzo who played Dustin in Stranger Things is most likely playing  the Dragon. Some off the other actors some off you won't now but those ones are probably the most well known to you gen z's out there. The film is directed by Cartoon Saloon co founder Nora Twomey, who previously directed The Breadwinner and co directed The Secret of the Kells. The script is written by Meg LaFauve who wrote Inside Out and the Good Dinosaur. I have previously gotten into Cartoon Saloon. The only one I saw so far is The Secret of the Kells and I LOVED it. That movie has got me excited for this. It will premiere sometime in 2022 on Netflix. Tell me what you think in the comments and don't forget to follow!

    Looney Tunes Back in Action is outstanding! It is  very underrated! It is a lot like Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Mary Poppins where it combines 2d hand drawn animation and live action. The movie combines everything I love about Looney Tunes and more with monsters, spy's, Steve Martin, Westerns, Adventure films, and everything else I love. The interactions between the animated characters and the human characters are amazing, very fun to look at, here is an example.      The animation is gorgeous, oh and also, IT IS HILARIOUS! Avatar Show Confirmed for 2025!!!! (and other updates)

                We now have are second Avatar Studios project announcement!!! After the very exciting announcement of the young adult team Avatar movie which is now confirmed for a October 10th 2025, we now have gotten an announcement for Avatars next show!!! The show will be about the next Avatar after Korra, who is an Earth avatar!!! The show will take place 100 years after Korra and will take place in modern day!!! Can you imagine an Avatar show, that takes place in modern day!?!?! With like newer looking cars and technology mixed with the classic Asian architecture and look that the series is known for!?!?! That's AMAZING!!! Avatar Studios will also  apparently release a show on paramount plus and a movie every year!?!?! That's INSANE!!!! Lets just hope they don't run out of steam. Animated Films with stylized animation (and how they did it)

 I got a ton of reviews for movies and shows that I wanna do but I feel like I've been doing a lot of reviews lately, so I'm gonna do this instead. It gives me a little else to talk about. Today I'm gonna talk about movies with animation that looks like nothing we've seen before and how they did it. I also put videos so you can see the process. Spider-Man into the Spiderverse Spider-Man into the Spiderverse is a groundbreaking film in many ways. But one reason is because of its incredible animation! How they made the computer animation look like a comic book is amazing! How they did it is they put a lot of 2-D lines on the characters face. Look closely on Miles' face, see how the wrinkles on his forehead look hand drawn. They also animated most of the movie on twos, which means that they are 12 frames of animation in one second instead of the 24 frames of animation in one second which is used in most animated films.
