Bjorn the Last Unicorn Review: Its kinda Amazing!

 

    


    So I just watched Bjorn the Last Unicorn and I'm just gonna say, its amazing. I loved it. Its charming, it cute, it has beautiful animation, it has awesome voice acting. Caleb Hyles who plays Bjorn kills it! Same thing with everyone else! Susan Egan, the living legend who was in my faviorite movie, Spirited Away, where she played Lin, and was Meg in Hercules. Then there's Chad who kinda looks like an older version off my friends little brother, is HYSTERICAL. All the characters are so fun! The animation is gorgeous! With fluid movements and gorgeous colors, it rocks! The whole time I had a big smile on my face as I was watching it. I can't wait to see where Pencilish goes next and congrats to the crew that (I said this on my Instagram but what the heck I'm gonna say it again) some off which I've gotten the wonderful privilege of getting to know. Don't mean to brag any more than I already am but I actually was talking to Madi Williams (who I said on here before created Redcapes but also was an inbetweener on Bjorn) while she was inbetweening a scene!     Fun Fact: Madi told me that Chad was so popular with the crew, they decided to put him in a post credit scene like in Phineas and Ferb or the MCU.

 I got a ton of reviews for movies and shows that I wanna do but I feel like I've been doing a lot of reviews lately, so I'm gonna do this instead. It gives me a little else to talk about. Blue Sky Studios, Shut down by Disney

      Blue Sky Studios, the studio behind Ice Age, Rio, Spies in Disguise, Horton Hears a Who, and the Peanuts Movie has been shut down by Disney! The icing on the cake though, is that Disney cancelled there last film Nimona (based on the comic of the same name) was cancelled by Disney with only 10 months of production left!! That's cold. The employees of Blue Sky are being impacted to different parts of the Disney company like Disney Animation or Pixar. If I was them, I'd go somewhere else     For those of you who don't know, Disney bought Fox a few years back. With that buy, they got the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, Deadpool, The Simpsons, and Blue Sky. The only movie Blue Sky made under Disney's wing was Spies in Disguise. So  why did Disney shut down a absolutely fantastic studio in the first place. Covid. Yep. Avatar the Last Airbender: Animation storytelling at its absolute finest; the greatest show ever made!

              I have been wanting to watch this show for a while and when it was put on Netflix, I finally got my chance, and oh my gosh. Guys, this show is the greatest show ever made! Why? I'll tell you with no spoilers.     Lets start with the story, the story is incredible and will have you wanting more! The best part about the story however are the characters. They are the most complex, relatable, three dimensional characters I have ever seen. I was rooting for these characters all the way to the end of the show! I wanted them to succeed, I didn't want them to fail.  The world-building is probably one some off the best I've ever seen since Star Wars.  They set up the world so well.
