Bjorn the Last Unicorn Review: Its kinda Amazing!

 

    


    So I just watched Bjorn the Last Unicorn and I'm just gonna say, its amazing. I loved it. Its charming, it cute, it has beautiful animation, it has awesome voice acting. Caleb Hyles who plays Bjorn kills it! Same thing with everyone else! Susan Egan, the living legend who was in my faviorite movie, Spirited Away, where she played Lin, and was Meg in Hercules. Then there's Chad who kinda looks like an older version off my friends little brother, is HYSTERICAL. All the characters are so fun! The animation is gorgeous! With fluid movements and gorgeous colors, it rocks! The whole time I had a big smile on my face as I was watching it. I can't wait to see where Pencilish goes next and congrats to the crew that (I said this on my Instagram but what the heck I'm gonna say it again) some off which I've gotten the wonderful privilege of getting to know. Don't mean to brag any more than I already am but I actually was talking to Madi Williams (who I said on here before created Redcapes but also was an inbetweener on Bjorn) while she was inbetweening a scene!     Fun Fact: Madi told me that Chad was so popular with the crew, they decided to put him in a post credit scene like in Phineas and Ferb or the MCU.

 I don't think this movie is bad! So this movie is the first movie the critically acclaimed Studio Ghibli made in 6 yrs and its there first cg film. Now Studio Ghibli is the greatest animation studios of all time! They are from Japan and they made such amazing films such as Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke and so much more. All the films I just listed off to where all made by the incredible Hayao Miyazaki. His son Goro Miyazaki directed this. Goro directed a couple films, his first one Tales of Earthsea which was a flop. However, he completely redeemed himself with From up on Poppy Hill which was a big critical and commercial success. Then he made his award winning show Ronya the Robber's Daughter.       Disney had outdone itself this time. I have a lost for words here. So Disney started this Diversity thing and it was released online by a guy named Christopher F. Rufo. Here it is and its ridiculous. SCOOP: The Walt Disney Corporation claims that America was founded on “systemic racism,” encourages employees to complete a “white privilege checklist,” and separates minorities into racially-segregated “affinity groups.”   I've obtained internal documents that will shock you White employees are told to “work through feelings of guilt, shame, and defensiveness to understand what is beneath them and what needs to be healed.” They must “listen with empathy [to] Black colleagues” and “not question or debate Black colleagues’ lived experience.” Disney tells employees they should reject “equality,” or “equal treatment,” and instead strive for “equity,” or “the equality of outcome.” They must “reflect” on America’s “racist infrastructure” and “think carefully about whe...

      Pixar's Luca (no I will not say Disney Pixar) Pixar's third original film in a row after Onward and Soul, has released its first teaser trailer. They released a little sneak peak on Disney's Investor Day (which is like an online live stream where Disney announces upcoming stuff)  but Disney's Investor day was so overwhelming with all the stuff they announced so I decided not to show anything from it. I will maybe talk about the stuff they announced later but if you want to check out some of the really cool stuff they talked about, you can look up all the things announced at Disney Investor Day.
