The Black Friday Reel: The Toy Story that Almost was

 




        This is insane!!! You guys are about to see something that will blow your mind. The Black Friday reel was an early version off Toy Story that was shown to the executives at Disney. IT WAS AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE! EVERYONE HATED IT. The characters where so mean, especially Woody. They reason why it was like this was because Jeffrey Katzenberg (who we talked about before) who was the chairmen off Disney at the time, wanted it to be edgier. The execs was so mad that they wanted Pixar to shut PRODUCTION DOWN and lay people off! Can you imagine if Toy Story NEVER GOT MADE!!!! Toy Story wouldn't have been the first Computer Animated Film and Pixar probably wouldn't EXIST! Pixar however stood there ground and said no. The Director of Toy Story and one off the co founders of Pixar, John Lasseter, begged Disney to give them two weeks to turn the film around. And they did! Disney was flabbergasted that the folks at Pixar turned the film around so quickly! It was pretty much unheard off! That's Pixar for yah, they can do the impossible. It wasn't there yet because it was still early on in the story stage, but it was a lot better! The rest is cinematic history. 

    Brace yourselves because your about to see it with behind the scenes from the filmmakers. I don't know if you guys are ready. I gave you an opportunity to read the direct to video version of Toy Story 2's script! That might be easier!! You still here? Alright, let's do this.

    Looney Tunes Back in Action is outstanding! It is  very underrated! It is a lot like Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Mary Poppins where it combines 2d hand drawn animation and live action. The movie combines everything I love about Looney Tunes and more with monsters, spy's, Steve Martin, Westerns, Adventure films, and everything else I love. The interactions between the animated characters and the human characters are amazing, very fun to look at, here is an example.      The animation is gorgeous, oh and also, IT IS HILARIOUS! I was dying of laughter! It gets the personalities of the looney tunes characters down. Tons of looney tunes and movie references that I love! Making fun of product placement! Avatar Show Confirmed for 2025!!!! (and other updates)

                We now have are second Avatar Studios project announcement!!! After the very exciting announcement of the young adult team Avatar movie which is now confirmed for a October 10th 2025, we now have gotten an announcement for Avatars next show!!! The show will be about the next Avatar after Korra, who is an Earth avatar!!! The show will take place 100 years after Korra and will take place in modern day!!! Can you imagine an Avatar show, that takes place in modern day!?!?! With like newer looking cars and technology mixed with the classic Asian architecture and look that the series is known for!?!?! That's AMAZING!!! Avatar Studios will also  apparently release a show on paramount plus and a movie every year!?!?! That's INSANE!!!! Lets just hope they don't run out of steam. Animated Films with stylized animation (and how they did it)

 I got a ton of reviews for movies and shows that I wanna do but I feel like I've been doing a lot of reviews lately, so I'm gonna do this instead. It gives me a little else to talk about. Today I'm gonna talk about movies with animation that looks like nothing we've seen before and how they did it. I also put videos so you can see the process. Spider-Man into the Spiderverse Spider-Man into the Spiderverse is a groundbreaking film in many ways. But one reason is because of its incredible animation! How they made the computer animation look like a comic book is amazing! How they did it is they put a lot of 2-D lines on the characters face. Look closely on Miles' face, see how the wrinkles on his forehead look hand drawn. They also animated most of the movie on twos, which means that they are 12 frames of animation in one second instead of the 24 frames of animation in one second which is used in most animated films.
