What Makes a Brad Bird Film?

One of the greatest filmmakers who ever lived who not only makes animated movies, but makes live action films as well! You may not have heard off him, but his movies are iconic. His films include The Incredibles, The Iron Giant, Ratatouille, Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol, and Tomorrowland. He is one off my faviorite animators and filmmakers and we pretty much share all of the same interests and we have similar personalities. So I feel like if I knew him, we would be best friends lol! I think he probably the best director at Pixar. But what makes a Brad Bird film a Brad Bird film? Lets find out.

Fantastic Staging

Staging is where the characters are put and where there supposed to be in the scene. Brad Bird is a master at setting the stage. The Frames in his films look like a work of art. And are next thing has a lot to do with this to.

Playful Cinema

Tons off directors cut to each character really quickly. Not Brad Bird. The camera is treated like a character and follows the characters around. The camera moves from one place to another like a paint brush. Here's video that will explain a little bit more.

Outcasts

This one speaks for itself. Usually the outcasts have special abilities like superpowers or the power to cook.

A113

A113 is a room number at a college called Cal Arts and this was the room where some off the best animators learned animation. This room number is also in every Pixar movie, not just Brad Bird films.

50's or 60's Retro Look and Feel

Brad Bird truly is a visionary. Whether he's working on a animated movie or a live action movie, he puts his all into making his films, Incredible. No pun intended.
