Luca Review: A Pixar film unlike Anything I've ever seen!!! An Absolute Joy and Wonder to Behold!!!


     Luca is the best Pixar film next to Toy Story. I'm dead serious! Luca deserves to be on the big screen. Not on Disney Plus! This film is a beautiful masterpiece that is not like other Pixar films. Its, not as long, it doesn't tell a huge, complex story about emotions or souls. It literally is just a story about two Italian sea monsters that turn into humans on dry land that want to win a Vespa (an Italian scooter). I think that's one off the many reasons why I LOVE this film so much! But the story is so much more then that as it talks about things like prejudice and acceptance and how friendships can shape who we are. I didn't cry as much while watching this Pixar film, however I still very much got choked up and teary eyed! Its one of Pixar's sweetest and one off there most moving stories! The characters are so likeable. Luca and Alberto and Guila are SO likeable. Luca and Alberto remind me of myself. Not a single character in this movie I hated. Even the villian, Ercole Viscotti was absolutely hilarious! Almost every single word that came out of his mouth made me laugh! A lot off them remind me off my family members because the characters are Italian and I'm Italian! So I could relate to them a lot! I want to eat pasta and gelato and ride a Vespa after watching this movie!! And the animation! Where do I begin! The colors, the textures, the cartoony movement, and there transformation into humans! Its some off the best animation I think they've done because Its so different from the animation they've done previously. I LOVE how this movie takes place in Italy! Its so cool to see my heritage and culture represented in a Pixar movie!! I mean an Italian Pixar movie!! That's like a dream come true!! Like I said before, the characters remind me off my family members. I was all like " Hey! The mom reminds me off my Mom! Hey! The Dad reminds me off my Dad! The Grandma reminds me off my Grandma!" You get the point. 

    Luca is Pixar's simplest movie, but that's what makes it so special and so different from other Pixar movies! It is not only my second faviorite Pixar movie, its also one off my FAVIORITE MOVIES!! I can literally put on this any time and not get sick of it. Its like comfort food but as a movie!! Pixar can do no wrong in my eyes and Luca is one off there BEST!!! One of my top movies! I can not stress that enough!! The only other thing I can say about this movie is "Santa Mozzarella!" which means "WOW"!

Underrated Animation: Looney Tunes: Back in Action: One of the best live action/animation hybrid movies ever

    Looney Tunes Back in Action is outstanding! It is  very underrated! It is a lot like Who Framed Roger Rabbit and Mary Poppins where it combines 2d hand drawn animation and live action. The movie combines everything I love about Looney Tunes and more with monsters, spy's, Steve Martin, Westerns, Adventure films, and everything else I love. The interactions between the animated characters and the human characters are amazing, very fun to look at, here is an example.      The animation is gorgeous, oh and also, IT IS HILARIOUS! I was dying of laughter! It gets the personalities of the looney tunes characters down. Tons of looney tunes and movie references that I love! Making fun of product placement! Animated Films with stylized animation (and how they did it)

 I got a ton of reviews for movies and shows that I wanna do but I feel like I've been doing a lot of reviews lately, so I'm gonna do this instead. It gives me a little else to talk about. Today I'm gonna talk about movies with animation that looks like nothing we've seen before and how they did it. I also put videos so you can see the process. Spider-Man into the Spiderverse Spider-Man into the Spiderverse is a groundbreaking film in many ways. But one reason is because of its incredible animation! How they made the computer animation look like a comic book is amazing! How they did it is they put a lot of 2-D lines on the characters face. Look closely on Miles' face, see how the wrinkles on his forehead look hand drawn. They also animated most of the movie on twos, which means that they are 12 frames of animation in one second instead of the 24 frames of animation in one second which is used in most animated films.
