Luca Trailer

Image
Pixar's Luca (no I will not say Disney Pixar) Pixar's third original film in a row after Onward and Soul, has released its first teaser trailer. They released a little sneak peak on Disney's Investor Day (which is like an online live stream where Disney announces upcoming stuff)  but Disney's Investor day was so overwhelming with all the stuff they announced so I decided not to show anything from it. I will maybe talk about the stuff they announced later but if you want to check out some of the really cool stuff they talked about, you can look up all the things announced at Disney Investor Day. Alright here is the trailer. Hope you love as much as I did!      Wasn't that like super cool! I love love love the animation and character design and how it takes place in Italy! You guys don't know how excited I am for this amazing looking Pixar film! Tell me what you think in the comments!

Blue Sky Studios, Shut down by Disney

Image
Blue Sky Studios, the studio behind Ice Age, Rio, Spies in Disguise, Horton Hears a Who, and the Peanuts Movie has been shut down by Disney! The icing on the cake though, is that Disney cancelled there last film Nimona (based on the comic of the same name) was cancelled by Disney with only 10 months of production left!! That's cold. The employees of Blue Sky are being impacted to different parts of the Disney company like Disney Animation or Pixar. If I was them, I'd go somewhere else     For those of you who don't know, Disney bought Fox a few years back. With that buy, they got the X-Men, the Fantastic Four, Deadpool, The Simpsons, and Blue Sky. The only movie Blue Sky made under Disney's wing was Spies in Disguise. So  why did Disney shut down a absolutely fantastic studio in the first place. Covid. Yep. It turns out, Disney does not have the kind of money they used to have and now are unable to own three animation studios. So they axed this o...

The Legend of Korra Review: Not as good as its predecessor, but still pretty dang awesome!

Image
So the Legend of Korra is the sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender (aka my favorite show). I watched Korra with my sister and we finished the show in January and we both loved it. However, I still think the original is better. ATLA definitely had its dark and serious moments, but it was balanced out by great humor. Korra on the other hand (though it definitely had its funny moments) was a lot darker and more serious in tone. I like that though. It does a good job at differentiating itself from ATLA, but also not losing sight of what made Avatar so amazing in the first place. The story, the characters, the emotion, the humor the animation, the fight sequences and  choreography are all there in Korra, but it does  different stuff to. I love the villain's, especially Ohmun and Kuivera and yeah its a great show
