Underrated Review: Cats Don't Dance: A film that deserves the spotlight
For my first underrated animated movie review, I decided to review Cats Don't Dance. Julian, I've never heard of that movie in my life? Well, I wish you would know! Because it is absolutely fantastic. It was made in the nineties at a studio called Turner Feature Animation, which was owned by Warner Bros, and this was there third film (and sadly there last and you'll see why). It was directed by Mark Dindal, a Disney veteran who did effects animation at Disney for over a decade and was asked by Turner to direct the film. He would later go back to Disney to direct The Empires New Groove and(unfortunately) Chicken Little. This is his directorial debut. Lets start talking about the story. Its about a cat named Danny who goes to Hollywood to become a movie star in the 1930's, but realizes that animals don't big parts.
