Luca: Pixar's Next Film Coming in 2021 (I Hope)
Luca is Pixar's next film after Soul. It is set to be released June 18, 2021 and is directer Enrico Casarosa's (the director of the short film La Luna) first feature film. It tells a story of a young boy named Luca who goes on a vacation in the Italian Riviera where he meets a young boy and soon becomes best friends with him. But his new best friend is hiding a dark secret, he is a sea monster! Will this affect there relationship? I don't know? You guys don't know how excited I am for this movie! Pixar made there promise to make more original movies like the good old days. They are becoming a much more diverse company as well. As a person who is Italian I am excited to see my heritage on screen. And judging by the art, I bet the animation will be beautiful. We will have to wait a year for this movie but Soul will definitely keep us busy and I can't wait for that.
